NFC

The NFC stands for the National Football Conference which is part of the NFL. The NFC by many standards is also considered the pretty boy conference for a number of different reasons. If you ask many football fans they will tell you the teams in the NFC aren't as tough as the AFC. I don't know where this comes from but it can be trace back to probably two teams the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers who have won many Super Bowls between them. Both of these teams have had stars who were consider glamour guys and didn't like to take hits. The truth is they didn't mind it was just a perception they got and the tagged has stuck with the NFC for whatever reason. In recent years the NFC has seen some down years as the AFC has dominated the Super Bowl. The NFC is a conference that has teams all over the country from California to Florida and everywhere inbetween. The Dallas Cowboys is the most popular team in the NFC for a number of different reasons. When they were winning super bowls they got the nickname of America's team and that has really infuriated some of the other teams in the NFL.

Even teams in the NFC really can't stand the Dallas Cowboys and even today their still is that hatred for the Dallas Cowboys. Part of this comes from all the winning seasons they have put together. No one likes to lose to them and it seems a loss to them is shown everywhere. They are only one of the teams in the NFC that have had real great success. their are many others it just seems the Dallas Cowboys are always being talked about. The NFC as a conference has many good teams in them and it seems teams go through a cycle. Some will be good for awhile and than others will step up. It's just part of the way things work it seems in the NFC. The NFC is starting to come back though and better players are going into the NFC and they should start winning their share of the Super Bowls in the coming years. It's always a battle as the NFC wants to beat the AFC. Look for the NFC to get a Super Bowl win real soon.
