Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers came into the league and set a streak for the most losses in a row. To say they stunk it up was probably being very kind to them. No matter what they tried it seem they would screw it up. The one thing you could say about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is they were losers in the purest since of the word. It got so bad for Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans that when they did get a break and got to draft a good player they wouldn't play for the Buccaneers. Players would sit out and go back into the draft or demand a trade before they would sign a contract. Tampa Bay Buccaneer fans were the real losers as they had to sit through the games and all the jokes people would make about the team. Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans have to be some of the toughest skin people you want to meet. Even Tampa Bay Buccaneers first head coach John Mckay admitted he wouldn't pay to watch his team after what he saw either. For many years the Tampa Bay Buccaneers kept their losing ways going. Things though would get better for Buccaneer fans as Tampa Bay would eventually start to get better. Ownership changed help alot as previous owners didn't like to spend any money.

One of the first good moves the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did was hire a young coach name Tony Dungy who changed the attitudes of what the Buccaneer players and fan expected and put expectations alot higher. Once this was done and players were expected to perform things started to change for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. No longer were they losing games and being laughed at. They were winning games and people were shoeing up for games. Dungy won some division titles and he tried the best to get the Buccaneers to a Super Bowl but fell short. Dungy would get fired and Jon Gruden was brought in and brought the Buccaneer fans a Super Bowl. It took a very long time, but one Super Bowl win sure heals alot among fans in the NFL. Now after you win one they expect more and if Gruden doesn't deliver he could be on the outside looking in as he will lose his job to.
