Oakland Raiders

Everyone who roots for the Oakland Raiders have heard of the Black Hole. It's part of the lore of the Oakland Raiders which could be the most hated team in the National Football League. Their are many reasons for this and we will go a little further into how this has happened. The first place to start is the owner of the Oakland Raiders Al Davis. Davis has never had a warm relationship with the NFL and thus many court battles have happened and mostly going to the NFL. Davis biggest bone with the NFL is he feels he should be able to move his team to wherever he wants to. The NFL see's it differently and thus they have butt heads many times. The other reason that the Oakland Raiders are one of the most hated teams is from dirty play. over the years many players and teams have felt that the Oakland Raiders take cheap shots at them especially on the offensive and defensive line. I don't know about that, but like most teams they will try and take whatever advantage they can get on the other team. Now we haven't even talked about the Black Hole yet. The Black Hole in essence is where the Riders play and it feels like your in a Black Hole as the fans are all dressed in black and silver the Raiders colors and their definitely are some weird looking characters that comes to their games. Those are Raiders fans though.

Outside of all the distractions you have the Oakland Raiders have won Super Bowls and usually are one of the more consistent teams in the NFL. Recently though the Raiders have really struggled and are not playing real well. Former coach John Madden who coached the Raiders to a Super Bowl win even had a football game named after him. he still has a soft spot for the Oakland Raiders. he knows how hard it is to coach in Oakland as he went through all the antics you deal with as coach of the Raiders. Oakland Raiders football will rebound as Al Davis will do whatever it takes to put a winner on the field. One of his most famous lines is just win baby. People have never forgot that saying and even though Al Davis has many faults he usually is the one who gives players chances that other teams wouldn't.
